WISBOWL 2025/6 RULES AND REGS

  • TO BOWL A SANCTIONED WISBOWL PRIZE MONEY EVENT 4 THINGS MUST BE TRUE (starting 1/30/26):
  • 1: Intention to bowl and details of location date must be shared in league chat prior to the event.
  • 2: Three or more Wisbowl league members must be present at the event and agree to a prize event.
  • 3: Must be present to win and must bowl a 3 game series together.
  • 4: Picture(s) must be submitted to league chat with event scores the day of the event if current commissioner is not present.

  • Notes: All/only scores from sanctioned events as laid out above will apply to future handicaps. The point is we can have unlimited sanctioned events – just need at least 3 people present and agree on a prize money event.  I’ll make sure everyone gets paid the correct amount based on the amount of people in the event.

  • Pre/Post Bowling have been abolished from Wisbowl as of 1/29/26 – all non sanctioned events are now exhibition.

  • A sanctioned event will consist of a 3 Game Series: top “weekly” bowler will be awarded prize money based on handicap scoring. Weekly is in quotations because we can have multiple sanctioned events per week. League-Style Bowling format will be requested at each bowling center if available. (2 lanes – back and forth)

  • Top “weekly” bowler of a 3 game series will win $5 times the amount of bowlers that week. EACH BOWLER will be asked to pay $5 per week for payouts. This will be $80 request per bowler to start season. The winner for the week will be paid out that week. After week 1 a new bowler to the league will need one week of non competitive/non paying bowling in league to set handicap and qualify for prize in following weeks of the season. Any money left if a bowler must miss a week will be returned to the bowler at seasons end.

  • WISBOWL 2025/6 will be a HANDICAP system based league with the weekly handicap based winner receiving the weeks winnings.

  • Handicaps will be determined based on a rolling average updated weekly-this will be tracked on the SCORES page. Handicaps will use a 95% of 230 Format to determine pin add for final official score. Handicap will slightly even the playing field for all to compete weekly. An improving bowler will have a chance to win if they bowl good compared to their rolling annual average. See here for more info on handicap Facts.
